tps mod

i was thinking of this but cant find out enough information about it on the site. i am running 450 dsm with resistor box and vfac, i havent hooked everything up yet but in my research i found the tps mod mentioned. what are the benifits of this mod? should i utilize it while i run 10 psi on my d16z?
